Our MALE Shiba Inus

Meet Benny "better than Karen's Benny"
Meet Caesar

Meet Caesar "he's young and very cudly"
Meet Caesar
Caesar is our newest shiba male. We adopted him in February of 2007 from a nice individual in Memphis Tennesee. Caesar is our youngest male shiba. He flirts with the girls and uses his boyish charm to his advantage. Since he is so new to our family he is still a little shy. Every day he gets a little more outgoing. Caesar hopes to settle down someday with a young shiba and start a family. We love Caesar.

Meet Kobe "our big boy"
Meet Kobe
Kobe was the boy that started this endeavor. As a young girl, Danielle was constantly visiting the neighbors who had dogs. She would walk them, buy them treats and play with them daily. One of neighbors was kind enough to buy Danielle a dog book for Christmas. This book contained detailed information about all the the known purebred dogs that the AKC recognizes. Danielle was reading every word of the 300 page book. She studied it and was reading it constantly. Danielle was adamant that the Shiba Inu was the breed for her. She read how a shiba is: smart, small (20-22 pounds full grown weight), playful and easy to maintain. She turned out to be correct, and now look at us... It is said that a shiba is a small dog with a big attitude. That statement fits kobe to a tee. Kobe is the perfect defintion of the shiba as described by the breed description: Shiba Inu Description

Meet Pierre "youngest male Shiba"
Meet Pierre

Meet Simba "he's young but eager to learn"
Meet Simba
Simba is our only creme male at this point. We adopted him from IceWindFarm in New Jersey. Simba is only 22 pounds now but will end up being our largest male shiba. If he is anything like his father, he will end up weighing over 23 pounds which is large for a shiba. At this point, we will breed him with Nila and Nala to produce purely cream shiba offspring. Simba is very playful and loves to run around in the snow. He is very high spirited but is a typical male shiba puppy. He is not as large as our adult females at this point and is sometimes put in his place by them. There are many times when the females would prefer to be left alone instead of the constant playing that Simba enjoys. Actually, the three are growing up together and play tug-of-war with each other on a daily basis. Simba is now a proud and happy father! Please come back often to keep up with Simba's progress.

Meet AKC Champion Tycho "Frerose South of the Border"
Meet Tycho
Tycho is also known as Frerose South of the Border. At RightPuppy Kennel we like to call him our loving little fluff ball. When we first got him he didn't even wait to shower my dad and me with kisses. I walked him up and down the driveway everyday after school, and he was absolutely the happiest dog in the world. His curled little tail wagging with joy. And at least once a day I'd bring him to my bedroom and I gave him belly rubs until my hands fell off. This gentle little dog is absolutely wonderful.

Our FEMALE Shiba Inus

Meet Aiko
Meet Aiko

Meet Annie
Meet Annie
Annie is definition of perfect. She is sweet, loving, beautiful, happy, and playful. Annie loves to lay on the couch and watch TV with us, and she loves going on long walks outside as well. When Annie was just twelve weeks old she was already playing with our older Shibas. She became best friends with Kobe. These two were always playing together, running around together, and of course, eating together. They squeezed in the same little kennel together at night. We absolutely love our next champion, Annie!

Meet Biscuit "our sweetest Shiba"
Meet Biscuit
Biscuit's soft face matches her wonderful soft personality. She's probably one of the sweetest animals alive. When we first brought Biscuit home she quickly bonded with Georgia and Lilly. The three together are very playful and mischievous. All the Shibas and even the Tamaskans get along well with Biscuit because she doesn't cause any trouble. She will share her bones and even her food. Everyone loves our little Biscuit!

Meet Dakota "Very Outgoing Personality"
Meet Dakota
Dakota is one the younger adults, she's still a puppy and always wanting to have fun. She jumps on the other Shibas when they are sleeping so that they can play with her. I always throw the tennis ball for her and she runs as fast as she can go and gets the ball and brings it back for another time. She could do this all day, but I'm usually the one who gives up first. She got Tasha's Tamaskan puppies to chase her one time and they all were happy and playing. As you can see Dakota makes everybody happy, who couldn't love this energetic little puppy?

Meet Georgia Lee "Southern Bell"
Meet Georgia
Georgia is the sister of Lilly, and the daughter of Kelly and Kobe. Lilly and her are partners in crime. She has Kobe's climbing genes and likes to climb on top of the cages and relax. She is a little ball of energy and always ready to play. She especially likes to play with our Tamaskans, Frankie and Shadow. Georgia looks almost exactly like her father, and sometimes I get the two mixed up. She is more of an outside dog and loves to go on walks through the woods and lay in the sun. My dad and I are very grateful that we have a Shiba as playful, cute, and sweet as she is!

Meet Miss Maya "Our best girl"
Meet Maya

Meet Kandi "Our Most Cudley Shiba"
Meet Kandi
Kandi is known as our Canine electric blanket. A shiba's body temperature is naturally around 101 degrees which makes her a perfect sleeping companion. Luckily, Kandi loves to sleep and lounge around. Shibas typically enjoy sleeping curled up but for some reason Kandi sleeps stretched out with her head comfortably propped on a pillow and her body under the covers. We are not sure, but Kandi might think that she is a female human girl from the way that she acts. She is very patient and gentle and causes no trouble of any kind. Kandi has an unusually appearance in that her white markings are "super white". Typically white markings on a shiba are closer to a tan or creme color. Kandi's brilliant white marking are passed to her offspring making a vivid contrast between the red and white colors on the puppies.

Meet Kelly "Frerose Champion Lines"
Meet Kelly
Kelly is one of the sweetest dogs on the Earth. She greets every single one of our customers with a smile on her face and tons of kisses. Kelly gets along with every one of our dogs, especially the puppies. She chases them around the kennel, and then she lets them chase her. She absolutely loves to get belly rubs, she rolls on her back and insists that you rub her belly. She must be the center if attention with her cute fluffy face and her constantly wagging tail. Also, Kelly is the happy mother of three of our Shibas, Lilly, Georgia, and Kimmy. We are happy Kelly is at RightPuppy Kennel.

Meet Kimmy "Daughter of Kelly/Kobe"
Meet Kimmy
Kimmy is the daughter of Kelly and Kobe's second litter. She acts just like her father and looks just like her mother. When she was five weeks old we put her with Tasha's Tamaskan puppies and they grew up together. Now Kimmy and all the Tamaskans get along very well, she is practically their sister. She loves going on walks down by the lake. One time she saw a squirrel and chased it all through the woods, she is just like her dad. Kimmy is a very loving, cute, and clever little Shiba Inu.

Meet Lacy
Meet Lacy
Lacy is one of the funny Shibas at RightPuppy, like her sister Macy. She acts like a puppy and wants to be treated like one too. Actually our little puppies mimic her; it’s the cutest thing to watch! Lacy and I go on walks all over the land, she’s a great companion. She tries to jump in the air like she is going to catch a bird. She loves walking out in the woods, but she also loves to sleep on the couch and watch TV. Lacy is one relaxed Shiba Inu.

Meet Lily "Daughter of Kelly/Kobe"
Meet Lily
Lily is the daughter if Kelly and Kobe's first litter. Lily is mostly like her father, and is loving like him too. She loves to sleep in my bed, and as soon as you let her upstairs the first place she goes is my room and jumps on my bed. One time when I walked in my room I saw her lying in my bed, under the covers, and with her head on the pillow. She was in paradise. She sleeps with me all night long and doesn't move one bit, just like her mother. Lily is just like her parents, and a wonderful part of RightPuppy Kennel.

Meet Macy "the entertaining Shiba"
Meet Macy
Macy is one our funniest Shibas here at RightPuppy. If you throw a bone or a toy across the room you can guarantee that Macy will dash after it. Sometimes she will slide across the room in order to get the toy. She is the happiest dog in the world once she gets the toy. Macy is always trying to entertain our customers. She tries to show off by rolling on her back our wrestling with her sister, Lacy. Macy sure knows how to put on a great show!

Meet Nala "White Princess #2"
Meet Nala
Nala is the more active one of the two white princesses and loves to play all the time. She has the energy of a six month old Shiba puppy. Nala and her sister, Nila, love to play tug-o-war and wrestle with each other. Nala always played with all the six week old puppies, she kept them well exercised. Nala, Nila, and Simba used to sleep in a giant pile in their cage. They looked like a pile of polar bears! Those three are best friends, and they always were together. Nala also liked to sleep on the couch at night, after she was done running around. Nala is one of the cutest little Shibas in the entire world!

Meet Nicole "Paris's Best Friend"
Meet Nicole
Nicole is Paris's twin sister, and her best friend. She acts just like her sister, and couldn't be five minutes without her. Nicole and I would go down to the lake in the mornings and she would splash in the water and chase little bugs on the ground. Nicole also thinks she is one of the bigger dogs, and howls like them too. She is one of the only Shibas I know that loves to swim in the water, she splishes and splashes in the water bowl until she is completely cooled off. We love these two sisters!

Meet Nila "White Princess #1"
Meet Nila
Nila is the calmer one of the two white princesses but she is still very playful. She doesn't do anything without her partner in crime, Nala. One day when it snowed in Charlotte, Nila was the first to go outside and play in the snow. This was her first experience with snow and she enjoyed it the entire time. She always slept with me on the couch but she wouldn't go on the couch unless I was there too. I always held her like a baby when she was a puppy and now she still gets held like that. Nila is one pampered little white princess.

Meet Noxy "Naturally Obnoxious"
Meet Noxy
Noxy is one of our happiest dogs at RightPuppy Kennel. When you walk up to her, she is automatically grinning from ear to ear. She curls up in a ball, and rubs herself against you, wanting all the attention. She and the Tamaskans are like best friends, she gets along with them very well. They chase after each other and see who can get the tennis ball the quickest. She slides across the room and gets the ball, and wags her tail like you've never seen. We absolutely love our cute, energetic, Noxy.

Meet Pancake
Meet Pancake
We got Pancake from Asahanna Kennel about three months ago and we absolutely love her! As soon as she came to RightPuppy Kennel she got along with everybody, and within ten minutes she was happy and playing with all the Shibas. Pancake and I went for long walks through the woods and by the creek and she enjoyed every second of it. She sits on the concrete walls and pokes her head in between the gates and watches everything going on in the kennel. We love Pancake very much and glad we got her!

Meet Paris "Nicole's Best Friend"
Meet Paris
Paris is the dog that will always entertain you. She may be smaller than the rest of our Shibas but she is just like the big dogs. At least she can howl like one! Paris can be very playful and hyper at times. Then when she settles down she is a cuddly little fur ball. She loves to sleep in my bed, and hide underneath the covers. We named Paris and Nicole after the two inseparable friends, Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie. Simply because these two are never apart!

Meet Roxy "Our Most Loving Shiba"
Meet Roxy
Roxy, the adorable Shiba Inu, and she knows it. She is cute and adorable, and loves attention. If she isn't the center of attention, she will be. She is always giving kisses and standing on her hind legs and giving hugs. Everyone of our customers thinks Roxy is the cutest thing ever! Also, Roxy is a beautiful red color. She has bright white markings as well. Roxy definitely deserves to be the center of attention.

Meet Shadow "Black and Tan"
Meet Shadow
Shadow is our only black and tan Shiba at RightPuppy Kennel. Even though she may not blend in with the other Shibas, we think she is right at home. We love Shadow very much! She has one of the best temperaments, and gets along wonderfully with all the little puppies. The Tamaskans also thinks she is one of them. She howls at the moon, like they do, and she imitates everything they do. Shadow thinks she is just like our Tamaskan named Shadow. Shadow fits right in at RightPuppy Kennel.

Meet Sweetness "The Drama Queen"
Meet Sweetness
Sweetness's name says it all for this beautiful Shiba Inu; she is the sweetest thing on the planet. As soon as I petted her, she kissed me, I knew for a fact that this dog was a tame, loving dog. I took her to my room, and she already knew that she was going to be pampered. Indeed she was! She slept in my bed that night, and wouldn't step out of my room for that entire day. I bring her up to my room about once every week now. She gets pampered to death, Sweetness obviously loves it here at RightPuppy, and we love her here.

Sweety"
Meet Sweety

Meet Taka "Morningstar"
Meet Taka
Taka is our genetically perfect female, and she knows it. The rules don't seem to apply to her; at least that is the way that she views the world. Taka seems to do everything a litter better and easier than her kennel mates, but that is the way that she prefers it...

Meet Violet
Meet Violet
Violet may be little but that doesn't stop her from acting like the bigger dogs. She gets along very well with our younger Shibas. When we first got Violet she was very active and playful, and she kept up with the littler puppies. She would chase them and wrestle around with them until they got tired. This little girl also did very well in my bedroom and just liked to lay on the couch with a blanket and a pillow. One time when I was sick Violet slept on the couch with me the entire day and gave me kisses. After that I got better the next day. Violet is a very caring and loving little Shiba.

Meet Yuki
Meet Yuki
Yuki is our most energetic playful Shiba at RightPuppy Kennel. She is just as active as she was she was four months old. We put her with Tasha, Moose, and Tundra when she was younger and she was beginning to believe she actually was a Tamaskan! She ate whenever they ate, got water whenever they did, then she started howling like them. She also thought she was as big as them. We had to tell her she was actually a Shiba Inu though, and now she knows that she is, she plays with our other lively Shiba, Dakota. This little girl is very silly, and happy, and energetic! Everyone loves Yuki.
